As you stroll down Colorado Boulevard in
Eagle Rock on a typical Friday evening, as you pass the corner of Caspar Avenue, your nose can't help but notice the wonderful and tempting aroma of roasting chickens, and so

on see dozens of them slowly turning on spits over an huge open fire pit, juices dripping and hickory smoke wafting into the air. As you get closer, you're likely to hear an Elvis impersonator belting out
"Blue Swede Shoes" or "Viva Las Vegas", while your stomach is further enticed with the delectable scents of fresh funnel cakes and warm kettle corn. Welcome to the
Eagle Rock Farmer's Market, what has become an Eagle Rock institution over the last 10-15 years. Here you can also find fresh flowers, honey, jewelry - even tube socks!! Don't forget about all of the
fresh fruits and vegetables, with seasonal items such as strawberries, apples, blueberries, pomegranates, peaches, pears, plums,

tomatoes, avocados, carrots, potatoes, lettuce, squash, plums
and the list goes on and on and on...
The market may not be as big and elaborate as some of the other farmer's markets in the LA area, but it is always fun to get out and enjoy the people in the community and
support local business, and what better time and place to do it than on a
Friday night in Southern California!!??The Eagle Rock
Farmer's Market is located at the intersection of Merton Avenue and Caspar Avenue, one block south of Colorado Boulevard and one block east of Eagle Rock Boulevard - open Friday's from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Come on out & enjoy!!!
